Automated processing and AI-assisted analysis

Yourney Scan may use cloud infrastructure, internal analysis systems, automation tools, deterministic scoring, and AI-assisted technologies to process assessment responses, structure information, generate personalized narrative interpretations, identify methodological consistency, and improve the quality of the service.

AI-assisted outputs are generated from the information you provide and from Yourney Scan methodology. They are designed to support reflection and personal or professional clarity. They are not intended to make legally binding, medical, psychological, employment, financial, or similarly significant decisions about you.

Using these tools does not mean that your identifiable personal information is sold or made public. Processing is carried out for operational, analytical, methodological, research, quality-control, product-improvement, and support purposes, under reasonable confidentiality and security measures.

Where reasonable and appropriate, information used for internal analysis, research, methodology validation, product development, model evaluation, quality review, or technology optimization may be anonymized, aggregated, pseudonymized, or otherwise handled in a form that reduces direct identification.

How information is shared

We do not sell your name, email address, assessment responses, or identifiable personal information, and we do not publish them publicly for third-party commercial purposes.

To operate Yourney Scan, information may be stored, transmitted, or processed through service providers such as cloud infrastructure providers, email platforms, payment processors, analytics tools, product analytics services, support tools, security systems, logging systems, and AI or automation providers that help us deliver, maintain, protect, analyze, or improve the service.

We may use anonymized, aggregated, statistical, or otherwise non-identifying information for internal research, trend analysis, methodology improvement, analytical process validation, product development, internal reporting, quality metrics, and platform evolution.

We may disclose information when necessary to comply with applicable obligations, respond to competent authorities, protect rights, investigate misuse, prevent fraud, address claims, enforce applicable terms, or maintain platform security.

Confidentiality and security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and digital safeguards designed to protect information against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

These safeguards may include access controls, session protections, protected storage, internal logging, operational review, data minimization practices, and reasonable selection of technology providers. However, no digital platform, internet transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. By using Yourney Scan, you acknowledge the inherent risks of digital services.

Consent and use of the service

By using the platform, creating or accessing a session, answering forms, providing information, purchasing the service, continuing through an assessment, or otherwise interacting with Yourney Scan, you acknowledge the processing described in this Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with this policy, you should not provide information or use the service. Where a specific form of consent is required, Yourney Scan may request it through the mechanisms available in the platform.

Important limitations

Yourney Scan is an analysis, self-knowledge, professional clarity, and reflective support tool. It is not psychological, psychiatric, medical, financial, legal, employment, tax, or other regulated professional advice.

Results, reports, interpretations, generated text, recommendations, and reflections are provided for informational and reflective purposes. Decisions you make based on the information you receive are your responsibility. If you need specialized guidance, you should consult a qualified professional.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have rights regarding your personal information. These may include the ability to:

  • Request access to information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion of information when appropriate.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
  • Request information about how your data is used, stored, or shared.
  • Withdraw consent where processing depends on consent and withdrawal is available under applicable rules.

To exercise a privacy right or submit a privacy request, email privacy@yourneyscan.com with your name, the email associated with the service, the right or request you want to exercise, and a clear description of your request. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity and protect the confidentiality of your account.

We will review requests in accordance with applicable laws, operational requirements, verification needs, and relevant exceptions. Some requests may not be fulfilled in whole or in part when retention is required for legal, contractual, security, fraud-prevention, tax, dispute-resolution, service-continuity, or rights-protection reasons.

Data retention

We may retain information for as long as necessary to operate the service, preserve access to results, maintain continuity of the user experience, comply with applicable obligations, respond to requests, provide support, improve methodology, conduct internal analysis, preserve operational records, prevent misuse, and develop or validate technological processes.

When information is no longer needed for identifiable purposes, we may delete it, anonymize it, aggregate it, or retain it in a non-identifying form for statistical, methodological, internal research, quality-control, or product-improvement purposes.

Cookies and similar technologies

Yourney Scan may use cookies, session identifiers, local storage, technical logs, and analytics tools to maintain sessions, remember preferences, measure usage, improve performance, detect errors, protect the platform, and understand how the service is used.

To measure and attribute advertising, we may use Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API. When a purchase is confirmed, browser and ad-click identifiers, IP address, user-agent, value, currency, payment provider, and an order identifier may be sent together with the normalized email transformed through one-way cryptographic hashing. Browser and server events share an event identifier so the same purchase is not counted twice. Assessment responses, results, and assessment content are not sent to Meta.

You may configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Some access, session-continuity, security, analytics, or personalized-experience features may be affected if these technologies are disabled.

International transfers

Yourney Scan may rely on technology providers, cloud services, AI-assisted tools, analytics systems, email platforms, support tools, security services, payment processors, or infrastructure providers that operate in different jurisdictions. As a result, information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in countries other than the country where you are located.

When this occurs, we use the reasonable safeguards available to us and process information only for the purposes described in this policy or otherwise communicated to you. Privacy protections may vary by jurisdiction, but we aim to handle personal information responsibly and consistently across the service.

Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect legal, operational, methodological, technological, commercial, security, or product changes. The current version will be made available on this site with its last updated date.

Continued use of the platform after an updated policy is posted means you acknowledge the updated version, unless applicable law requires an additional form of notice or consent.
